Description:
Weekly 1.5 hour rides at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). Not likely to be very hilly.

This ride will be at the LOW end of the grade but still within it.

Back to basics this week - actually the same route Andy used on the first Tuesday 2* ride of the season but (and this is the cunning part) - in the opposite direction! It's amazing how different a route can feel when you do it the other way around.

A very warm welcome to any 1* riders who fancy a little stretch. The biggest hill is the Denchworth railway bridge (although to be fair we do it twice...). 15 miles at a very gentle pace. You'll be fine - go on, you know you want to!

One of those crazy times when you wonder if anyone will be mad enough to turn up. Of course they will! Four brave souls set off in the teeth of wild winds and looming shower clouds. Fortunately, the rain held of and we somehow stayed dry. The first half was wind powered and we all felt super-human. This was compensated for by the second half - grovelling somewhat into the howling gale.

But - the group stayed together and a (relatively) good time was had by all. Thanks for your company!
