Description:Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly.Slightly lumpier route this week but shorter to compensate. With only just over 90mins of daylight available now I've left options to cut short if we need to. Aiming to get to the pub for 8pm. Lights will be required. Optional stop at The Fox in Denchworth at the end of the ride. |

It was actually pretty pleasant with some late summer evening sunshine.The group made excellent progress right at the middle of the 3* grade. Most people removed their waterproofs before the climb to the top of Hackpen which didn't seem to trouble anyone. The closed road at Childrey meant we had it to ourselves! We made such good progress that we added on a loop at the end to make the most of the last rays of Sun although Jon had to do it with half a saddle. We arrived at the pub for food and laughs just after 8pm. | ||
