Description:For full details of the event see the "Annual Mince Pie Ride" entry.The 2* ride will leave at about 10:00 - but please arrive at least 10 minutes beforehand to register. Ride out with us to the NT car park at White Horse Hill, Uffington, for mince pies and mulled wine. |

David Bridge did a splendid job as sweeper. After the first hill out of Letcombe our numbers were reduced as some riders could not resist the challenge of Hackpen while others asserted pressing bar keeping duties dispensing mulled wine. Our route through the little villages was actually quite well sheltered and then after Uffington we came to the hill, which each of us took at our own pace. The return journey was more fragmented as riders took different options, but quick - with a roaring tail wind. Jack Frost was not missed. | ||
