Report:
An interesting ride to say the least !

First of all we welcomed Tom Clayton to his first group road ride and Bryony Stott on her first Three star ride - well done to you both !

As I had chosen a variation on a well known three star favourite, I perhaps should have been clearer on the 'subtle' variations as the group split at the A417 and arrived at the Letcombes from different directions. Nick was last seen trying to bridge the gap - but from ahead of the lead group! Pleased to hear you got back safely - if a bit damp !

Anyway, after some voicemail ping pong with Nick, the two rejoined sub groups headed off along the route which was enjoyable until, on the back of Seven Barrows, drizzle arrived becoming proper rain by Blowingstone Hill.

A safe, if damp, descent took us through Kingston Lisle, Denchworth and back to OMH
