Description:Weekly 1.5 hour rides at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). Not likely to be very hilly. I think the time has come to gently introduce one of the classic local hills - Hackpen. We will head out around Wantage to the Letcombes and then tackle the ascent up to the Ridgeway on Hackpen Hill. Don't worry - everyone will go at their own pace and we will re-group for a breather at the top. Your reward will be a huge sense of achievement, great views and a lovely swoop down to Sparsholt. Then we'll work along the contours to Kingston Lisle for another great descent into the Vale and an easy route home via Goosey and Denchworth.20 miles / 30km |
