With the promise of the Tranters' famous refreshment at the top everyone made quick work of the hill, after a brisk spin through some familiar villages in the Vale. The group fragmented post mulled wine, with some heading directly home and others for a delicious lunch at the Fox in Denchworth. All that remains to be said is thanks to all the riders for making the leader's job so easy, a warm welcome to James Nygaard, a new rider out on his first taster ride, and many thanks to Richard Saunders for being such an excellent sweeper. Merry Christmas one and all. | ||
