With a group at the more experienced end of 1*, we rode a little faster than usual 1* pace, fairly bowling along trying to keep up with a Di at one point! We had enjoyable detours to less visited corners of the Vale on our way out and back - the pretty village of Shellingford and the expanse of Baulking green. And after a headwind on our outward leg and some glowering clouds that threatened rain, we enjoyed the tailwind and some sunshine on the way home. A most enjoyable afternoon to mark the end of the Cycling Uk year. Thanks everyone for your company and a happy new cycling year! | ||
