Description:Recover from last night's BBQ by joining us on a day ride, heading North West to Northleach; This is a flat-ish 100km with pub stop for lunch at the Red Lion Northleach. Hopefully a stop for a beer on the way back as well. |

Made lunch by 11:55, but then had to wait over an hour for the food. Departed Northleach around 1:45 and headed over some rolling lanes towards Bourton on the Water, swinging back through the Risingtons to Burford where we stopped for ice cream. Returning via Aston we somehow missed the turn for the backroad to Tadpole bridge, and on re-tracing our steps we were denied a beer at the Trout as all day opening seems to have passed them by. After the climb up to Buckland (I had to walk by this stage) we decide on a stop in the services on the A420 and we were all our of fluids. Finally back to Wantage some time after 6pm. | ||
