Description:Something a little different.Making the most of the summer daylight we will start the ride early at 7.00am to (hopefully) take advantage of some quieter roads. A relatively flat ride with the only significant hill being the climb up past Farmoor to Cumnor. The plan is then to reward ourselves with brunch (estimated about 9.45am) at The Bear and Ragged Staff. https://www.bearandraggedstaff.com/menu/#breakfast We will then head directly back to Grove with the bulk of the day still ahead. As I will need to book a table please can you confirm whether you want to join the ride by 30 June. |

Report:Well the experimental early start seemed to pay off. We had the best of the weather and quieter roads. Not to mention an excellent (and generously portioned) breakfast at Cumnor.The consensus seemed to be that a brunch ride was worth putting on from time to time. Katherine unfortunately had to leave us after breakfast but Andy joined us instead. Bit of a brutal headwind on the way back - so thanks to the group for rotating the lead. Thanks all for trying something new. | ||
