The route went through Charney Bassett, Hatford, Fernham, Uffington, Kingston Lisle, Westcot, Sparsholt, Childrey, West Challow and Wantage. A hefty shower soon after the start was wisely ignored as a reason to abandon the ride and the rest of the outing remained dry. The gravel track between Childrey and Challow did for one of the Chairman's tyres, leading to a pit stop in Ham Rd.Henk, Ride Leader | ||
