Riders:Andrew RobertsonChris Lea Chris Walters Colin Appleton David Bridge Des Higgs Edith Hipwell Frank Schroer Geoff Neill Henk Altmann (deceased) Jo Bindloss-Gibb Maurice Bawden Peter Busby Philip Thornton-Evison Sorrel Williams Steve Swanton Riders = 16 Report:Somehow we managed to dodge the rain! 16 riders but only one ride this evening, at slowish moderate pace, to East Hendred and back.We went out via Lains barn and Lockinge as far as Ginge. Although I gave folk the option of taking the road down to the A417 and meeting us by the church in East Hendred, everyone decided to follow me along the Ginge Farm track, which was dry if rough in places. The leader was relieved to see two front tearaways remembering to pull up by the church in EH following the lovely downhill into the village. While regrouping some drops of rain led to general donning of cags only for the rain to promptly stop. New to most riders was the metalled footpath between the two Hendreds -ridden with instructions to dismount if we encountered any pedestrians, which we didn't. Then it was up the hill back to Ginge feeling very autumnal with yellowing trees, gusting breeze, dimming light and falling temperature. We returned via Ardington and Wantage with riders gradually peeling offf home along the way. The streets of Grove were wet following a downpour but we missed it  .I thoroughly enjoyed it - thanks to all. Sadly just one more Tuesday Evening ride left of the season.
