Description:Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. 1.5-2 hour ride at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph)NB: we plan to offer this as a bridge ride at a slower pace than normal to give 1* riders the opportunity to try out a 2* ride. If we have enough riders and leaders, we will offer two rides at different speeds. Hinton Waldrist, Hanney Pub Night! The ride will stop off at the Fox in Denchworth for those who wish to eat or have a drink there. Please arrive by 6.20pm for the ride leader's briefing and a prompt start to the ride. We are not always able to wait beyond the start time. |

We split into two group (thanks to Gareth for leading Group Two). The forecast was uncertain but we set off with cautious optimism. Unfortunately, the weather intervened. Only about 2 miles in, it started to rain and then just got heavier. Much drenching occurred. We shortened the route and headed for the pub or home depending on which seems more appealing! In the end we had a good group dripping in the Fox and they looked after us very well.Thanks to all for braving the conditions with good humour. | ||
