Not suitable for irregular riders.PLEASE NOTE 8.30am START - SO PLENTY OF TIME FOR CAFE STOPS I haven't been south of Hungerford to Chute Causeway for sometime - so decided it was time to do so. It is quite a challenging ride but hopefully as it is August we should be getting towards being cycling fit. We will have a coffee stop at Honesty in Inkpen and then a lunch stop at the cafe at Great Bedwyn. |

The conditions were great - beautiful sunshine but not too hot - and that made the views spectacular. Was a hilly route with about 1,200m of climbing but all the group tackled the hills with great energy. The food in the cafe stops was great - but service was a little slow and at Wendy's somewhat random, (over an hour between the first and last sandwich emerging - and John was so hungry he ate his dessert first!). But we took it in our stride and just chatted in the glorious sunshine. Thanks everyone for joining me on what I think must be one of my top local(ish) routes. | ||
