Description:Note **1pm** start from Old Mill HallTrip out to Ardington, via East Challow, edge of Letcombe Regis, Wantage, the route 44 to Lockinge. Our regular social and family ride on the third Saturday of the month, usually with a cafe stop. We cover 16-32km (10-20 miles) at a leisurely pace of 13-16km/h (8-10mph), tackling the occasional hill (nothing too long) and easy off-road track (conditions permitting). Please let the ride leader know if you are planning to come. |

Riders:Carin TranterDavid Bridge David Jackson Des Higgs Stephanie Haddrell Steve Boreham Riders = 6 Weather:  Report:Following "amendment" to route (may have included Southmoor but this was visited Thursday) and time... six of us set out from OMH.Weather had brightened up - rain cleared and sun came out - compared to this morning when the ride may have run. so the ride leader - was pleased that reverted to PM, and suspect others were too! Lovely gentle amble, and were rewarded with some fine views. Road from Lockinge had three huge puddles that had to go "through" rather than round - residue from the morning rain! That was the worst of it though. Rewarded with a leisurely tea stop at the Grocer Chef, not really warm enough to sit out but lovely refreshments as always. Eschewed the planned return past Lains Barn, as gather the road was in a bad state, and returned via Wantage Comparatively short ride for a Saturday but needed to ensure the tea stop reached before closing(!). Priorities, priorities..... Thanks for a lovely ride, everyone. | ||
