A few extra details for you on upcoming events:
THE MINCE PIE RIDE – SUNDAY 9th DECEMBER
Two things to say about this, in addition to the basis info on the last email:
Firstly, thanks very much to all those who have already dropped off donations of mince pies, red wine and cranberry/raspberry juice. Please keep them coming – there is a box waiting for you in the porch at:

Secondly, I have a bit of an apology – I’m afraid we got organised too late with the pub lunch idea, and we can’t get the space for a sufficiently large group. We have decided to write that off to experience and so it won’t happen this year. Of course last year it was all planned and then got snowed off anyway, so you never know… But, talking of pleasant pub social events –
CLUB ANNUAL DINNER – SATURDAY 9th FEBRUARY
One of our new Committee members, Stephanie Haddrell, has very kindly taken the lead in organising this. The details are as follows:
Venue – The Fox and Hounds in Uffington.
Date – Saturday 9th February
Time: 7 for 7.30
