So that’s why all Bryan’s rides involve hills…

CTC Wantage member and grimpeur extraordinaire, Bryan Charleston, will soon be heading off on a little jaunt to raise money for the Cardiomyopathy Association. Bryan will be cycling from Bordeaux to Barcelona – 450 miles in 6 days, and taking in the Pyrenean climb of the Col du Tourmalet – a giant climb, being the highest pass in the French Pyrenees at 2,115 m / 6,939 ft. This year the Tour de France will be taking in the Tourmalet not once but twice, so you’ll be able to witness on TV the type of suffering Bryan will have cope with from the comfort of your own sofas, beer in hand.

If you’d like to support Bryan, please visit his fundraising page – it’s a fantastic challenge to raise money for a very worthwhile cause.

Good luck Bryan!
