Riders:Angie FisherCarin Tranter John Tranter Lorna Swanton Louise Bowers Steve Swanton Susan Holdroyd Val Smith Riders = 8 Weather:![]() Report:The most glorious sunny morning for quite some time! With no 2* ride today, Louise, John and birthday girl Angie joined us to enjoy a gentle meander around the Vale. 7 of us set out from Old Mill Hall, dodged puddles on the road to Denchworth, paused briefly under the walnut tree there and again by the church at Lyford, where Steve caught up, impressing us with his detective skills (spotting tyre tracks going in one direction only).Coffee at Stanford Coffee Shop was as good as ever. Our wide-ranging chat touched on ride-leading, noting that Thursday 1* rides will only be once a fortnight over the winter, and that it's always helpful if leaders sign up well in advance, so people can plan. We said goodbye to Louise in Stanford and returned to Grove via Park Lane, Asti and Denchworth, enjoying more sunshine and chat along the way. Thanks, everyone, for your company. | ||
