Report:A relatively select group of regular riders for our second Tuesday 2* outing of the season on what was a cool and rather gloomy April evening. An uneventful ride taken at a steady 2* pace, took us through the Letcombes for the climb of Holborn Hill. Once we'd got our breath back, we were then rewarded with the lovely long descent on the B4001 through Childrey and on to the A417 at Challow station. After a short stretch of unusually quiet main road, we turned off into Goosey and looped back to Grove via North Denchworth. There had been dampness in the air for most of the ride but luckily this only developed into more notable drizzle on the final stretch from the railway bridge. Thanks all for your good company on a very easy ride to lead. | ||
