Description:Weekly 1.5 hour rides at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). Not likely to be very hilly.OK, I have been very impressed with the growing confidence and fitness levels of the 2* gang this year. So surely now is the right time for a spicy little challenge - Uffington White Horse Hill!! I know many of you will assume this an impossible challenge, but believe me it isn't. You just have to take your time, have a couple of stops as necessary and the reward at the top is a huge sense of achievement and the most spectacular view in Oxfordshire. Not to mention the fun descent all the way down to Woolstone. The rest of the ride is an easy loop around familiar roads. 22 miles, with - a hill!! |
