Description:Wantage to Highworth via Coxwell returning via Uffington.This will be run at 2* pace but contains a bit more climbing than most such rides. We will wait for folks to catch up at the the tops of hills. Note: Route changed as Brooks cafe has closed. The Roves farm cafe drive is a bit rough so you might prefer to use tyres wider than 23mm. |

Fortunately the sun came out on the road to Highworth.Roves farm cafe, once we found it amongst the buildings, was not packed, reasonably priced and quite a good place to stop for a break. The driveway is much improved since the last time we were there. We stayed there for half an hour and left at 15:30 for a ride back through the Vale this time in sunny conditions and with the wind mostly behind us. | ||
