Description:Wantage to Highworth via Coxwell returning via Uffington.This will be run at 2* pace but contains a bit more climbing than most such rides. We will wait for folks to catch up at the the tops of hills. Note: Route changed as Brooks cafe has closed. The Roves farm cafe drive is a bit rough so you might prefer to use tyres wider than 23mm. |

Riders:David BridgeDes Higgs John Tranter Karen Townsin Karl Blake Sharon Bedford Steve Swanton Riders = 7 Report:7 riders left Grove in weather that was very windy, and the clouds more threatening than expected as we made out way through the Vale of the White Horse. Fortunately the sun came out on the road to Highworth.Roves farm cafe, once we found it amongst the buildings, was not packed, reasonably priced and quite a good place to stop for a break. The driveway is much improved since the last time we were there. We stayed there for half an hour and left at 15:30 for a ride back through the Vale this time in sunny conditions and with the wind mostly behind us. | ||
