Description:

Weekly 1.5 hour rides at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). Not likely to be very hilly.

A trip out to Uffington via East Challow and a well surfaced bridleway to Childrey. Back via Shellingford and Park Lane. I will be stopping The Fox in Denchworth, but there will be others heading back to Grove.

***BRIDGING RIDE***
This is the fourth of our Bridging Ride series designed to help those who would like to progress to the next level of cycling. As such it will be ridden at the lower end of the pace range.

Weekly 1.5 hour rides at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). Not likely to be very hilly.

Optional social stop at The Fox at Denchworth at the end of the ride.
Riders:
Bryony Stott
Des Higgs
Karen Townsin
Mike Bailey
Mila Yearley
Riders = 5

Weather:
sunnysunny intervalswindy (fine)
Report:
A small but select group of riders tonight. It was great to see Bryony back on her road bike, SPDs causing no unscheduled dismounts, despite her fears, and warm enough to tempt Mila out too. :D
An annoying head-wind on the way out and a faulty valve caused a brief discussion as to whether we should cut the ride short, but a decision to revert to Plan A was rewarded with a speedy blast back to Denchworth with the wind on our backs.
A lovely, relaxed ride in gorgeous weather, with beautiful views and good company. What's not to like?
Distance:
33.00 km (20.51 mi)
