Description:Half day ride (45-55km / 30-40 miles), with a tea stop, at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). Not likely to be very hilly. Might be a struggle for new or irregular riders in winter months.A nice easy ride as I have other stuff planned for later in the day! A trip north with a coffee stop at the excellent Bampton Garden Plants. The only hill of note is on the return trip up to Buckland. Expect to be back at Grove by 13.00. |

Coffee and cake were taken at Bampton Garden Plants, to fortify ourselves for the ascent of Buckland hill. A very sociable and capable group, who took the post coffee section at a sneaky three star pace quite comfortably, returning to Old Mill Hall at around 12.45. | ||
