Description: Monthly 16-32km (10-20 miles) family and social afternoon rides, usually with a tea stop, at a riding pace of 13-16km/h (8-10mph). Occasional short or gentle climbs. A slightly longer and undulating ride this month in preparation for this year's Mince Pie Ride. After an exploration of the new developments north of Stockham, we'll cut through Naldertown en route to the Letcombes to climb Holborn Hill. After a rest, we'll descend into Childrey and head along the Springline as far as Britchcombe Farm, before dropping into Uffington. After refreshments at the Fox and Hounds we'll return to Grove on the flat through Baulking, Goosey and Denchworth. A round trip of about 21 miles. We should be back before sunset, but please bring lights in case of delays or for your journey home.
