Report:A wonderful sunny day, but not too hot. So we decided a moderately ambitious route to Uffington White Horse Hill.This took us up Lark Hill, then across and up the field on the side of Chain Hill. Then a bit of Ridgeway and across to the fun, rutted descent at Seven Barrows. From there, we followed the gallops, but not at a gallop, northwards towards the White Horse. The grass was a bit draggy, but we kept turning the pedals - 29-inch wheels definitely an advantage here. Reaching the highest point in Oxfordshire we paused to admire the 360-degree views, and for a quick selfie. Then we followed the Ridgeway East, to Jolly Green Giant, which made for a rapid fun descent before heading for home. | ||
