Description:Social rides up to 24km (15 miles), usually with a cafe stop, at a riding pace of 13-16km/h (8-10mph). Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as it may be cancelled or the start time changed.Out to Faringdon if roads are good or a shorter route to Fernham if conditions poor. |

( perhaps they had even worse jobs waiting for them!!) It was great to welcome Mavis who had not been out for sometime.Very quickly the rain eased and we had a very pleasant ride out to Faringdon via Baulking and Fernham. A welcome Latte at the coffee shop in the square and a pain au raisin to die for... Thanks Des for sparing my blushes as I had left my phone and money at home. The ride back was through Gainsford and Charney and all went smoothly until Martyn had a flat.. he opted to ride and pump his way back to Wantage, accompanied by Susan. Thanks to all who turned out despite the weather... until next week. | ||
