Description:
Sociable rides from 24km-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 16-19km (10-12 miles) per hour. Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as the ride may be cancelled or the start time changed. This is a pre-bookable ride. To book a place, text your name to the ride leader no earlier than 9:00am on the Friday before the ride. You will receive confirmation or be advised that the ride is fully booked. A reserve list will be maintained.

Ww will do a classic loop out of Grove via Denchworth and the Hanneys, across to Steventon then to East Hendred and the back lanes to coffee at the Grocer Chef in Ardington. Home past Lains Barn. 20 miles with a couple of minor hills.
Report:
It was great to welcome Lizzie for the first time, Terry coming back after a Betjeman Ride a couple of years ago and Martin on his first ride with us since 2018. The group rode really well together and we had a mellow and uneventful run around the Hanney's and across to Steventon. Steventon Hill was made a bit more complicated than usual by roadworks and Featherbed Lane was the usual slightly annoying rat-run, so it was nice to drop into East Hendred and have the roads to ourselves again. A great coffee stop at Ardington was followed by strong riding past Lains Barn and home.

Thanks to all for your company - it was a lot of fun!
