Description:As a courtesy to the ride leader, we ask that you text in advance to book a place.An easy sociable ride of just under 15 miles, at a pace of 8-10 miles per hour, to Lyford, Charney Bassett and Stanford-in-the-Vale, stopping at Stanford Coffee Shop and returning via Park Lane. Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor, as the ride may be cancelled or the start time changed. |

We took our time and pedalled gently along, pausing by the walnut tree in Denchworth and the church in Lyford, taking in the surprising sight of 3 buzzards in a field on the way to Charney Bassett. Another pause at Gainfield before a leisurely break at Stanford Coffee shop, then a smooth ride back to Grove via Park Lane and Denchworth. Thanks to our two sweeps - Susan on the way to coffee and Kev on the way back - and to everyone for your company. Next 1* Thursday is March 3rd. | ||
