We promised ourselves we would all take the hills and our own pace - not push it too much - and look forward to the downhills. We also thought we could cut if short if need be .The first third of the ride was particularly hilly and very hard work - but the temperatures then dropped and so it got a bit easier. So we carried on with the planned route. We split into two groups of 5 so thanks to Jane for leading the second group. The consensus was that it was a great evenings ride, a lovely route (so thanks to the mystery person who put it up on the website) and as ever the sweep down Chain Hill was fun. | ||
