Description:Easy sociable rides from 16km-24km (10-15 miles) at a pace of 13-16km (8-10 miles) per hour usually with a cafe stop. Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as the ride may be cancelled or the start time changed.As a courtesy to the ride leader, please book your place by texting them (incl. your name), no earlier than the Friday before. Ride up to Childrey village stores via Denchworth, Challow Marsh and West Challow. Return along the track to East Challow. |

Report:This ride changed route as it went along. Firstly we decided not to have coffee in Childrey as planned, but meet up with the 2* riders at Stanford. We did the first part as outlined on the website, by going up to Childrey via Challow Marsh and West Challow, but then we came back down the big hill from Childrey to the A417, turned into Goosey to get off the main road and then round to Stanford via Park Lane. We returned from coffee back along Park Lane again and through to Denchworth and Grove.The weather was beautiful and sunny without being too hot. A lovely ride! | ||
