Daytime 1* Thursday Ride	1*

Leader: Lorna Swanton	Start Time: 10:00 am	Start Location: OMH
Description: As a courtesy to the ride leader, please pre-book for this ride. Easy sociable rides from 16km-24km (10-15 miles) at a pace of 13-16km (8-10 miles) per hour usually with a cafe stop. Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as the ride may be cancelled or the start time changed. A classic 1* loop out to Stanford-in-the-Vale, where we will meet the 2* riders for refreshments at the Stanford Coffee Shop.
Riders: Carin Tranter Diana Whidborne John Stamp John Tranter Kevin Hazell Lorna Swanton Sarah Macaulay Steve Swanton Tim Waite Riders = 9 Weather: Report: A beautiful sunny day, but the chilly north wind made us want to keep moving, apart from brief pauses at the usual 1* stopping-places - by the walnut tree in Denchworth, by the green in Charney Bassett and at Gainfield - to check everyone was OK. Cycling in two groups of four made it easier for cars to pass. Stanford's cosy coffee shop provided a warm welcome, as usual, and we were joined by the 2* riders there. Return via Park Lane, Asti Equestrian and Denchworth. (9 riders, in two groups of 4? We had a change of personnel at coffee, when John Tranter joined us, and John Stamp left early to get back for an appointment. ) Thanks, everyone, for your company.
