Description:A 20m flat ride out to Steventon and back to Wantage via Hendred and Ardington. Stopping for coffee at The Old Stables cafe in Wantage. Sociable rides from 24km-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 16-19km (10-12 miles) per hour. Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as the ride may be cancelled or the start time changed. If you would like to join us please text your name to the ride leader. |

Report:A lovely morning for a ride out with friends and a chance to try out the new Old Stable Cafe in Wantage. The route was as planned out to Hanney, Steventon with a detour through the village and returning to Wantage via Hendred and Ardington. Rather than going on the footpath to the Neson we detoured around the New estate to Charlton and on to the Old Stables cafe where we met up with the 1* riders. A very sociable affair and wonderful coffee and Cake! We then dispersed with riders making their own way home from the cafe at their leisure. A great ride with good company and excellent cake- what more could one ask for! | ||
