Description:A special family ride this week for the school holidays visiting Lyford and the Hanneys. We'll pass through Denchworth (looking out for peacocks) have a stop by the small green in Lyford and again for refreshments at the recreation ground by the community shop in East Hanney. The route provides lots of flexibility for shortening by splitting into groups.Our family-friendly social rides on Thursday mornings during the school holidays are designed for young riders with a parent/guardian. The ride will last about 2 hours at the pace to suit our young riders, following quiet country lanes and the occasional easy off-road track. We'll stop regularly to catch our breath, to take in the views and anything that takes our interest along the way. There will be experienced riders on hand to guide, assist and encourage. Please book your places by texting the ride leader (or message me through facebook) no earlier than the Friday before. |
