Description:Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Easy sociable ride of 24-32 km (15-20 miles) at a pace of 14-17km/h (9-11 mph).A ride out to Ardington for cafe stop at the Grocer's Chef. Out via the back streets of Wantage to the Icknield Way out to Ginge and West Hendred, then back to Ardington over the Bridge of Doom (rebuilt - less doom than the old days) before heading for home on the Lains Barn Road. 12 miles / 20km |

Report:Perfect weather for a summer bike ride. Good to use the re-opened bike track alongside the A338 to Wantage and then great to get out into the lovely countryside of the Lockinge Estate (including a little history talk on the mystery of the missing Manor House...)Very nice cake and drinks at the Grocer's Chef and Lain's Barn Road suitably conquered as we all headed home. Thanks to everyone for a great ride in great company. | ||
