Report:4 intrepid riders venturing out on a wet and grey afternoon.The heavy rain kept away (mostly) - but we still got wet because of the spray from the wet roads. Unfortunately just as the rain was at its heaviest I got a puncture. Barry kindly did most of the repair (I understand he is getting a reputation at being the ride mechanic) using Jo's inner tube (my spare had a big hole in it despite being a recent purchase) and Des's CO2 canister. I think the next coffee round should be on me! We then returned to Wantage incident free (even navigating a couple of big puddles). Smiles all around despite it not being the best of conditions. | ||
