Description:Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Half day ride (45-55km / 30-40 miles), with a tea stop, at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph).Keeping it simple and hopefully avoiding too much flooding, this is a classic big loop around the Vale. Out via Denchworth and Uffington, one climb up to Knighton and then our coffee stop at the delightful Baking Bee at Ashbury. We then take in a few of the best west Vale villages before heading home from Shrivenham via Fernham and Hatford. 34 miles / 55km |

Report:Grey clouds at the start and steady drizzle for the climb wasn't encouraging, but in the end the sun came out and all was fine.A lot of mud and puddles around, but the group coped well. We had a nice stop at the Baking Bee on Ashbury, although the service was a little slow - good that they were busy. Thanks to all for a fun morning. | ||
