Riders:David JacksonEddie Little Joy Arthur Louise Bowers Peter Brodie Stephanie Haddrell Riders = 6 Weather:![]() Report:Six of us set off from the Nelson with blue skies and full sun.Perfect conditions waited ahead on the trails. What more could you ask for. As we cycled through the woods we were treated to an array of shades from the trees, wildflowers including the bluebells. Wildlife spotted, Fallow deer, Red kites, Buzzards, Raven, Swallows and butterflies. Unfortunately Pete suffered two mechanicals, air hissing from his rear tyre thankfully the tyre did reseal itself. Then a little later his chain snapped. Fortunately David was carrying the correct tools along with a spare link and fixed the chain. Thanks David you are a star!! Towards the end of the ride we stopped at the Court Hill Centre for a light lunch. Service and food was as usual excellent. We finished the ride with the wonderful descent of Warborough Hill. Thanks to everyone for being patient and for being a great group to lead. | ||
