Climbing almost inevitable. This is a pre-bookable ride. To book a place, text your name to the ride leader no earlier than 9:00am on the Monday before the ride. You will receive confirmation or be advised that the ride is fully booked. A reserve list will be maintained.PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A SATURDAY RIDE THIS MONTH AND STARTING FROM OMH. Also note the group will be a maximum of 6 riders on this ride. If there is significant interest I will see if another leader will take a second group 15 minutes later, with a lunch stop at a different cafe to the first group. Route and description updated Monday 14 September. Following advice about the A40, I’ve reversed this route so it will be out via Black Bourton and Buford before reaching Bourton-on-the -Water for the return via Clanfield. We'll stop just over half way at Sherbourne village shop and tea rooms for lunch. With the current situation we will only be doing one stop, so might be as well to bring a snack along. Not overly hilly but of course being the Cotswolds there will be some hills |

Riders:Andy PixtonChris Bailey James Bosley Katherine Boyce Sharon Bedford Yvonne Bird Riders = 6 Weather:Report:Group of 6 set off on a beautiful Saturday morning, straightforward ride out to Bampton via Buckland at which point Katherine handed over leadership to Andy as her injured foot was not coping with being clipped in .Nice route through Buford avoiding most of the very busy town centre, shortly followed by a lovely descent into an even busier Bourton-on-the-Water. The following climb out of Bourton was the payback, but the rolling roads to lunch at Sherborne were enjoyable. The takeaway from the tea rooms was enjoyed by all and the mainly downhill return home was brisk at times. Thanks to Andy for stepping in to the breach and to the nice social group. | ||
