Report:A lovely Autumn morning full of promise. We headed out to the Letcombes stopping at the top of Holborn Hill for a breather and view of the misty vale as the sun promised to break through. We then went on to The Cantorist for Coffee and a very relaxed chat. Fully refreshed we rode through Westcott Sparsholt and Kingston Lisle to retun via Baulking and Goosey. Unfortunately the sun did not make an appearance although on meeting the 2 star group in Grove we leaned that it was beautiful in Lambourn !A lovely ride and super company. | ||

Sociable ride of 24-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 18-20km/h (11-13 mph).Ringing the changes, a ride to Goodies Café in Lambourn. It does take in one challenging section - Blowingstone Hill - going up! Down through Seven Barrows, then a long, gentle uphill to Hackpen, followed by a fun swoop down Hackpen returning via The Letcombes. A slightly shorter ride than usual, the climb makes up for it..... |

The weather was distinctly murky but started to lift as we got down into the Lambourn valley. After a good stop at Goodies Café, we emerged to clear blue skies and warm sunshine. Sadly, as we climbed the hill back to Sparsholt Firs, the chilly gloom, once again, descended. | ||
