Description:A faster/harder Tuesday evening ride. These rides will be at the limit of what the club will offer in terms of speed and/or effort.Average speed will be 25-30kph (16-19mph) on flat rides. Hillier 35km route. Out to Shrivenham and up Ashbury Hill to Lambourn. Back via Hackpen Hill, Letcombe Regis and Wantage. |

Riders:Andy CowanAshley Brown Cathy Brown Janet Charleston Paul Jarvis Paul Ryan Peter Cowan Phil Stubbings Riders = 8 Report:Quite long,quick and hilly! 35.3 miles at 17.4mph with 360 metres climbing, not bad for a Tuesday night after a hard days graft.Really helpful, co operative, friendly group who all worked as a team to drag us around and made my job easy.We really do have some good riders in the club, Paul and Peter can both ride at whatever speed you ask them and Cathy and Ashley descend like pros,amazing to see. I had the thought as I dragged myself up from Lambourne that maybe a 5* may be a good idea! The rest of us benefited from some courteous waiting at points which kept us together and got us back on time.Thanks to Paul for doing a good sweep job and everyone else for coming. | ||

- 3* - Suitable for experienced riders, may be hilly, long, quick, or any combination! Likely to be half or full-day rides. Challenging exercise.
- 4* - Suitable for athletic riders who can ride safely above the 3* standard. Quick rides for the fit.
