Description:Weekly 1.5-2 hours ride at a riding pace of 25-29km/h (16-18mph). May be hilly. Optional stop at The Fox in Denchworth at the end of the ride.Heading South this week, up Manor Road to warm up, then a fast run down towards Shefford followed by a short sharp climb up towards RAF Welford, turning N and the gentle climb through Brightwalton. The celebrated descent of Chain Hill is followed by "the usual route" to the Fox at Denchworth, where the led ride ends. Lights necessary. |

Once at the top of Manor Road the Northerly wind drove us South at great pace. Heading North was a different matter and we all felt short of a couple of layers of clothing. Still, good to get out on an evening like that and get 500 m of climbing in. | ||
