Description:Weekly 1.5-2 hours ride at a riding pace of 25-29km/h (16-18mph). May be hilly. In an attempt to head out in a different direction this is a repeat of Andy Pixton's fast (60 km) flat ride out to the outskirts of Witney and back, featuring the tunnel under the A420. After that the ride passed off uneventfully and at an even higher speed than last year. Enjoyable ride to lead as, with the exception of Buckland Hill and the Denchworth Dash, we kept together well as a peleton. Special thanks to the faster riders for reigning their speed in just a little to allow the rest of us to keep up. | ||
