Description:UPDATEThe ride will start from the car park at Greenham Common control tower. Grid Ref is SU499651. Duration will be around 2 hours with a route chosen to suit those who come along form the ride. Weather looks good, so hope to see you there! Twice monthly off-road ride for those who like their rides bumpy and (sometimes) muddy. These will be on the second Saturday afternoons and 4th Sunday mornings. The rides will be about 20 miles, mostly off-road, and aim to finish in time for a late lunch (whether together or heading for home). We adjust the ride to suit the riders and the weather, but in general the terrain will be rough, so a mountain-bike in good condition and with knobbly tyres is recommended. This ride will start in Newbury, on Greenham Common. Only a short one of about 2 hours, but plenty of opportunity to play on the Greenham single track on completion if you want. - More details to follow. |
