Description:
First turbo training session of the Autumn/Winter season.

Please bring your bike, turbo trainer, a towel/mat for your bike and a small towel for you (you will sweat!).
We have The Dixon Suite booked from 6:30 to 8:30 and will start the session at 7pm.

Please contact me in advance if you want to borrow one of the two club turbos.
Sessions cost £20 for all 10 booked in advance, or £4 per session drop in rate. This covers the hire of the hall.

Great to see some familiar faces and some new riders for the first turbo session of the Autumn.
After the usual FWF (First Week Faffing) we were underway with a mixture of long and short climbs and some sprints thrown in at the end.
There are still some spaces left, so come and give it a go next week. You can come for a taster then join us for as many/few sessions as you like.
We have 2 spare turbo trainers and plenty of people to help set them up if you are not sure.

1* - Suitable for irregular, social, beginner or family riders, pace will match the slower riders. Not hilly or long. Expect rides up to 3 hours. Gentle exercise.
2* - Suitable for regular riders who prefer to cover some distance but at a more relaxed pace. Likely to be half-day rides. Solid exercise.
3* - Suitable for experienced riders, may be hilly, long, quick, or any combination! Likely to be half or full-day rides. Challenging exercise.
4* - Suitable for athletic riders who can ride safely above the 3* standard. Quick rides for the fit.
