Description:Weekly 1.5-2 hours ride at a riding pace of 25-29km/h (16-18mph). May be hilly. Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours ride at a riding pace of 25-29km/h (16-18mph). WILL be hilly.A brisk warm-up across the Vale before a 2 stabs at the Ridgeway courtesy of Dragon Hill then Ashbury. A nice roll down to Lambourn before the steady climb back over towards the Letcombes and then home. Lights advisable in-case of delays during the ride. |

Riders:Frank SchroerJason Jones Nick Stokell Paul Jarvis Peter Cowan Phil Ward Riders = 6 Weather:  Report:After a spirited start, we settled into the headwind as we set our sights on the White Horse.Jarv decided to find out what it's like to wait for everyone at the top of the hill - so he went ahead to Ashbury while the rest tackled Dragon Hill. Very little chat on the way up. Serious faces. Once regrouped on the Ridgeway above Ashbury, we navigated the lunar landscape that is a typical Oxfordshire road in 2018, only to cross into the smooth-tarmac utopia of West Berkshire. Oh, how the other half live.... West Berks delivered further once we reached Lambourn, with a glorious tailwind all the way back over Hackpen Hill. At Letcombe, it was decided to transfer Ride Leadership to P.Ward (after being sufficiently briefed on how to navigate back to Grove) as he was the sole returnee to OMH and the original RL's fingers had turned blue due to poor glove choice. All riders home before dark. Some lights were used towards the end due to the gloom. | ||
