Description:

Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly.
A flat loop around the vale. Expect this to be at the upper pace range for three star in view of the absence of climbing!
Please bring and use lights.

Report:
What an evening for a bike ride - well, at least 19 riders, ready for a thrash around the vale thought so !!

We split into two groups, thanks to Kath for leading the second group, and headed off for a beautiful and pacey ride through mainly quiet lanes. Despite me asking several times, no-one seemed to want to go slower, so we completed the ride at the top of 3* pace and got back in good light.

The road closure at the 'Volunteer bridge' caused the only lozenge of cars on the way into Denchford and the 2* group gave us a good target to aim for on the way back to Grove.

The second group arrived five minutes later with no calamities to tell :)
