Description:Social rides up to 24km (15 miles), usually with a cafe stop, at a riding pace of 13-16km/h (8-10mph). Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as it may be cancelled or the start time changed.This weeks ride is short and flat, to cater for some guest riders taking in some pretty local villages and a stop at the Childrey cafe. |

Riders:April HaddrellBethany Manser Chris Whitworth David Bridge Des Higgs Diana Whidborne John Groves Karl Blake Martyn Wigmore Stephanie Haddrell Riders = 10 Report:A beautiful morning and a leisurely amble around the vale taking in 5 local villages with a stop at Childrey cafe.We left grove headed out to Denchworth and on to Lyford where we admired the church, pond and cotswold stone dovecote for the second time in as many days! Leaving Lyford we touched Charney and headed to Goosey, before turning left on the Faringdon road and on to Childrey for a well deserved coffee and cake. A more relaxed pace than recent rides to accommodate our two irregular riders Beth and April who were visiting. From Childrey some regulars headed off for some hill climbing, whilst rest continued the ride along the footpath out of Childrey, through Challow admiring the alpacas, and Denchworth (peacocks and all), back to Grove. | ||
