Twas the last Tuesday evening ride of 2003 so I hoped it would a memorable one. It was also my first ride as leader. My cunning plan to lead the fast/long ride group up Court Hill and onwards to Farnborough before returning home was scrapped due to low light conditions. The plan was quickly adapted to lead all 21 riders on a shorter route. No short/long ride option this week. The route left Grove past the kebab van to join the main road in the direction of White Horse hill. Just out of Wantage we took the turning to Letcombe Regis where all riders waited at the bottom of Court Hill | ||
