Description:Sociable rides from 24km-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 16-19km (10-12 miles) per hour. Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as the ride may be cancelled or the start time changed. This is a pre-bookable ride. To book a place, text your name to the ride leader no earlier than 9:00am on the Friday before the ride. You will receive confirmation or be advised that the ride is fully booked. A reserve list will be maintained.We will be going out to Southmoor via Hanney, Fyfield Wick, and Kingston Bagpuize. Return via Charney Bassett. Stopping at Munch Cafe in Southmoor, you can buy refreshments at the cafe, at the shop next door or bring your own. |

Riders:Carin TranterDes Higgs Diana Whidborne Nick Portsmouth Stephanie Haddrell Terry Ryland Riders = 6 Weather:  Report:Although there were 8 riders booked onto this ride, with Des as the second leader (thanks Des), by 10.10am David and Ernie had not shown up, so we set off as a group of 6. The weather was supposed to be dry but we did have a a few drops of rain on our way up on the Hanney - Southmoor road.At the cafe 6 more riders turned up including Ernie and David, as they had not noticed the start time correctly. Eve, Gerry and Karl set off on their own way home, but the rest of the cafe riders returned with the led ride back through Charney Bassett as two groups, the second one led by Des. A good steady ride with good cake, sandwiches and coffee at Munch Cafe. | ||
