WOMEN'S TOUR SPECIAL - ride to meet the race	2*

Leader: Jon Townsin	Start Time: 11:00 am	Start Location: WMP
Description: A special ride designed to get us to Wantage Market Place in time to watch the Women's Tour head through on their way from Chipping Norton to Oxford. We'll start and end our ride in Wantage so the Women's Tour will be the finale ! A 40 km ride taking in some of the route that will be used - but in reverse order - and aiming for a viewing stop at the Market Place. Text to let me know you'd like to join so I can manage numbers, thanks. Half day ride (45-55km / 30-40 miles), with a tea stop, at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). Not likely to be very hilly. Might be a struggle for new or irregular riders in winter months.

A brisk westerly wind made the last few kilometres from Denchworth a bit more work but generally a great day to be out!
