Description:A 25m ride out to Uffington via the Letcombes retuning via Hatford and Charney Basset. An optional coffee stop at the Farmers market. As a courtesy to the ride leader, we ask that you pre-book for this ride. Sociable rides from 24km-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 16-19km (10-12 miles) per hour. Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as the ride may be cancelled or the start time changed. This is a pre-bookable ride. To book a place, text your name to the ride leader no earlier than 9:00am on the Monday before the ride. You will receive confirmation or be advised that the ride is fully booked. A reserve list will be maintained. |

I decided to add a little variety and incorporated the best cake stop in the Vale at the Uffington Farmers market, thanks Chris wonderful as ever!With a good turn out of 9 riders, we headed out via the Letcombes and Childrey, dividing into 2 groups as necessary. We then rode through Westcott and down to Kingston Lisle and Uffington. With a number of interesting stalls and some marvellous refreshments we had a leisurely stop and chatter- so good to catch up with Terry and Jenny. Once we had refuelled we rode back via Uffington Village, through Shellingford , Charney Basset and Denchworth home. Some of us then took the liberty of a second coffee stop at Parsons, cheeky but nice! Thanks for the company. | ||
